HET HANDSTORM KENNISCENTRUM

Het Handstorm Kenniscentrum ontwikkelt voor ontwerpleiders aanpakken om onbewuste kennis, ervaringen en waarde-overwegingen aan te boren en te gebruiken als inspiratiebron bij het zoeken naar creatieve oplossingen voor problemen. Uitgangspunten zijn de Handstorm-ontwerpprincipes.

Momenteel hebben de volgende activiteiten de aandacht:

  • Het schrijven en uitgeven van de Handstorm Handleiding voor ontwerpleiders.
  • Het ontwikkelen en testen van de App/werkvorm Burgerdialogen Beesel on line. Zie de Handstorm-blog.
  • Het ondersteunen van de pilot Samen Circulairder Slopen van woningcorporatie BrabantWonen. Zie ook de Handstorm-publicatie Circulaire bouwmarkten verlagen CO2-uitstoot.
  • Het verder ontwikkelen van de werkvorm Constructing metaphoric objects.
  • De fotoserie BeeselBuiten; een knipoog naar de openbare ruimte. Hoe maak je een serie foto’s (eventueel met toelichtende tekst) die een verhaal vertellen over observeerbare gebeurtenissen in de openbare ruimte in de gemeente Beesel? Use or develop the creative skills of the participants by starting with a short creativity exercise, using a common or familiar design. This leads to the creation of better solutions, as the instructions encourage the problem-solving process.

When facilitating, also respond to non-verbal input and provide a positive response to any reluctance among members. This leads to the sustained involvement of group members. This is because emotions enhance collaborative processes.

Plan the activities of the design meeting following the basic rhythm; starting, engaging with the problem, reformulating the question, diverging, converging and making plans. This leads to reduced anxiety and indifferent behaviour, as the structure of a creative process consists of the following activities: naming, framing, moving and reflecting.
